Pillowcase challenge
Pillowcases for At Risk Initiative
Our goal is 100 + pillowcases.
So far we have 133 and more coming ... Go SQG!
"At Risk Initiative" students live on base and attend Long Beach City College. The students have had life challenges and the program is designed to help them learn skills and become employed.
Quilts for Women Chemo - Kaiser, Anaheim
Please make them cheerful, no cancer fabric please.
Size is 44-48 wide-ish x 68-72 long-ish. (do not need to be exact)
The idea is chin to toes!
Live Center - Baby Layette items
Hats, Burp Cloths, Swaddle Blankets, etc.
They provide layette items to women in need.
Smaller Usable Items
If you would like to do a smaller item.....
A bag to hold the quilt is a great quick project.
Philanthropy sew-in
Summertime
The Seashore version will be bringing fabric to share, something maybe you no longer want to use.
Together we will use our creativity to make the "stash" into a quilt we can bless someone with.
It will be fun time and meeting new friends too!
