Board Meeting - 10 AM - 4th Friday of each Month
All members are welcome to join the Board Meetings.
Notify the Secretary at least 2 days prior to the meeting.

Lynne Crisafi
President & Founding Member
Elected Position: The President shall preside at all membership meetings and Board meetings. Appoint the Chairperson of all standing and special committees. Provide agendas for both the membership and Board meeting. Supervise all the business and affairs of the Guild.

Marilyn Pond
Vice President & Founding Member
Elected Position: Assume the duties of the President in their absence. Coordinate, arrange, and follow-up on programs and workshops with the Newsletter Editor and other appropriate outlets (i.e Webmaster). Book speakers
and workshops for up to two years in accordance with the established budget and coordination with the Workshop Chair. Work with the Workshop Chair on accommodation and transportation for guest speakers.

Secretary & Founding Member
Elected Position: Keep the minutes of the general meeting and meetings of the Board andmake them available at the next general meeting and next Boardmeeting. Send a copy of the minutes of the general meeting to theNewsletter Editor and Webmaster to post them by the deadlines.Maintain By-Laws.

Pat Barton and Co-Chair Teri Meggers
Treasurers
Elected Position: Responsible for all funds and securities of the Guild. Receive and give receipts for monies to the Guild from any source. Deposit all monies in the name of the Guild in banks and other determined depositories. Sign all checks and pay all bills authorized by the Guild. Have the checkbook available at all Guild functions. Maintain all corporate financial records ready for audit on request. Provide a financial report to present at each Board Meeting and publish it monthly on the website. Make financial reports available to Guild members for viewing at the monthly general meeting. Audit the financial records semi-annually. Complete all State and Federal financial forms. Project the following year budget and review with the President and then the Board.

Past President
Elected Position: The immediate Past President shall serve in an advisory position forthe Board. Be responsible for chairing the committee for the currentPresident’s quilt.

Membership
Voting Privileges - Collect all dues and fees. Advise the Board of membership status. Keep the Guild membership records current. Monitor the Guild’s P.O. Box and share mail with the appropriate officer, if not obvious, share with the President.

Bonnie Crawford
Philanthropy
Voting Privileges - Initiate and supervise all related projects as directed by the Board. Evaluate requests. Present community service organizations to the Board for approval as recipients. Allocate charitable donations, such as quilts and other items, to selected community organizations. Coordinate volunteers. Collect, sort, store, distribute, and kit fabric and other materials donated to the Guild for use by members. Coordinate effort with the Fundraising Chair. Organize workshops to produce service quilts. Act on behalf of the Guild as a liaison with other community service organizations.

Voting Privileges - Supervise all fund-raising events.

Wendy Healy
Workshops
Voting Privileges - Coordinate with the VP Programs regarding speakers and their workshop. Coordinate with speakers to plan to/fro venue, including hotel. Send reminder to workshop attendees with info about location,
supply list, time, lunch etc. Coordinate with event facilities to make sure there are no issues for the upcoming events. Register participants for workshops, collect workshop fees, and forward the fees to the Treasurer.

Newsletter / Social Media
Voting Privileges: Send reminder email to guild officers and committee heads soliciting inputs for the newsletter. Compile a monthly newsletter from board members and submitted articles, and advertisements. Include links to
minutes, monthly financial report, etc.
Marie Blash
Parliamentarian
Advise the Board and membership in accordance with the Guild’s By-laws. Serve as By-laws Chair in addition to their regular duties.Convene the Nominating Committee as explained in the By-laws. Abstain from voting.

Maintain and update the Guild’s website with information and photos from the officers and committee chairs.

Special Projects / Events
Lead and organize any special projects and/or events that the President assigns.

Donna Lindley
SCCQG Representative (Southern California Council of Quilt Guilds)
Voting Privileges - Attend quarterly council meetings and report back to the Board and to the membership all information pertinent to the Guild or its activities.

Open - Temporarily - Kathy KP Peysar
Publicity
Responsible for solicitation and management of advertising for inclusion in the Guild newsletter, collection and record keeping of payments of ads and processing payments to the Treasurer.

Review and ensure all corporate financial records are ready for audit when requested.

Act as a liaison between the facilities of the Guild’s meetings, events, etc.
